How can there be peace between the Lord and a person who allows sin to rage in his life?

Shall we justify our sin then?
Romans 6:1  ¶What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2  God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Shall we make weak excuses then?
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Romans 1:20

What answer shall you give in the judgement for your multiple of sins?
Luke 14:16  Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many:

Son, do not make sin the guiding light of your life.

Rather abandon and forsake your sin and allow the Blood of Jesus Christ to purge you from all unrighteousness.

Jesus alone can save you.
